Wabasha Field Trip

Third grade enjoyed a trip to Wabasha, Minnesota, today.  We made a stop at Lark Toys to checkout their old fashioned carousel and have a yummy treat of ice cream.  Then we enjoyed an indoor picnic (it was a bit windy and chilly) at the National Eagle Center.  We enjoyed a great presentation about eagles from the staff and some time to explore the exhibits.  A big thank you to all the parent chaperones who came along.  Check out some snapshots from our day below....

Mini Band Concert

Today we were treated to a mini band concert by the 5th& 6th grade bands plus the high school band.  It was great to see and hear the bands.  3rd graders will have the opportunity to join the band when they are in 5th grade.  I hope to get to watch them in a few years!

Iowa Dairy Story Field Trip

Today we enjoyed a field trip to NICC 's Dairy Center.  We learned a lot about dairy cows, good nutrition, and agriculture.  Making our own ice cream was also a big hit!  Enjoy a few moments from our day......
